Rebecca is a musical based on the 1938 novel of the same name by Daphne du Maurier. The musical premiered in Vienna in 2006 and opened in London's West End in 2010. It was composed by Sylvester Levay with lyrics and book by Michael Kunze. Rebecca is known for its lavish set designs and exquisite costumes. The story follows a young woman who marries a wealthy widower, Maxim de Winter, and moves with him to his mansion, Manderley, where she is haunted by the memory of his deceased wife, Rebecca.
